Yacht description Heesen 43m «SEVEN SINS»

SEVEN SINS is a well-constructed and successful Charter Yacht with good quality outfitting and design. She continues to benefit from effective care and maintenance. The lengthening of the bow area that was completed in May 2015 has significantly improved the overall appearance of the Yacht but more importantly has increased the hull efficiency and provided a crew accommodation plus additional storage that is in keeping with the expectations of crewing.

The yacht is a conventional steel hull, rounded bilge, full displacement, twin screw propulsion, >400GT Commercial Motor Yacht. Construction is of welded Grade A steel hull and Main Deck with the Superstructure and Mast of Marine Grade Aluminium built and maintained under ABS Classification. The keel was laid in June 2003 and the Yacht delivered in May 2005 by the Builder HEESEN YACHTS.

Registered with the Cayman Island Shipping Registry, certified and operating in accordance with the Large Commercial Yacht Code LY3 <500GT & <50m. The 10-year Survey was completed in May 2015 and combined with a major refit and conversion at the BALK Shipyard in Urk, The Netherlands commencing in December 2014. Conversion work included replacement of the entire bow section forward of Frame 23 inclusive of a bulbous bow, new enlarged crew accommodation, bow thruster tube, freezer, dry-store and enlarged foredeck. Naval Architecture and design was carried out by Van OOSSANEN. Waterline length was increased from 36.00m to 36.601m and overall length increased from 41.30m to 43.47m. Other work included renewal of the Generator engines only and full overhaul of the Main Engines.
