Benetti Classic 121’ represents the evolution of the first composite material model created by Benetti, and likewise of the experience gained by the shipyard, which is always ready to respond to Owners’ ever changing needs. This displacement yacht with a maximum cruising speed of 14 knots is 36.9 mt long and has a maximum beam of 8.18 mt. Consistently with the other new Class Range models, the total surface area of the windows has been increased to provide unprecedented illumination. The upright-free windows wrap seamlessly around the yacht’s profile, allowing light to flood into the interior decks and giving the entire hull a more streamlined appearance.
Classic 121’, like ever y Benetti yacht, combines top quality materials with the finest craftsmanship. Everything, from the handrails to the exterior stairways and from the wardrobe doorknobs to the individual scuppers, is tailor made by the expert hands of skilled craftsmen to achieve aesthetic and functional excellence. The exteriors of Classic 121’ have been designed as an area of absolute comfor t and relaxation, in remarkably close contact with the sea thanks to the newly designed profile of the steel bulwark. The exclusive layout of the upper deck offers the Owner the utmost freedom to personalise the decor with loose furniture. In every Benetti Class creation, the interiors reflect the Owner’s unique personality. At the Owner’s request, Benetti’s designers developed bespoke solutions for all aspects of Domani’s decor, combining wood and other materials including steel, leather and marble to create interiors with unique characteristics. The warm colour of Tineo wood combined with dark ebony inserts and the light tones of cream-coloured leather create elegant chiaroscuro effects. The Owner also wanted wood-clad surfaces to have a lightweight look to amplify the sense of depth. The “grillage” effect used on the doors gives every setting transparency and depth. The same approach is also used in services areas, including the galley and crew quarters.
The Domani’s main deck starts with the saloon: 55 sq mt which the Owner decided to split into a living area with roomy sofas and a dining area with a big table, full-height windows and lowered gunwales, to enjoy socialising on board in direct contact with the sea. The upper deck living area is devoted to relaxation, featuring a bar area and direct crew access from the main deck galley for better service. The big windows flood this area with natural light, while the sliding stern door extends the interior out onto the veranda to create a spacious area that is ideal for socialising and magical sunset cocktail parties.
The big novelty in the Classic 121’ is the large foyer, fitted with a day toilet, which provides horizontal paths to the rest of the yacht in addition to vertical access between upper and lower decks by means of the big stairway.
The Owner’s cabin is designed as what can only be described as a suite: more than 60 sq mt for use exclusively by the Owner, complete with a study, a walk-in wardrobe and two bathrooms, providing a stunning combination of form and function in perfect Benetti style. To offer the Owner unparalleled panoramic views of the sea, the bed faces forwards and is positioned in the center of the cabin. Access to the suite is through a spacious hall with a study and walk-in wardrobe. Two separate bathrooms for the Owner and his wife, one with a tub and the other with a shower, are the impeccable finishing touches in this night area. The “wide body” superstructure exploits the maximum beam of the hull to the full, making it possible to create airy spaces in both the day area and the Owner’s cabin.
The lower deck contains two VIP cabins with double beds and two cabins with single beds for the Owner’s guests. They are all arranged longitudinally to offer the utmost in comfort and soundproofing, even during navigation.
Benetti Classic 121’ is the first Class Range model in which the captain’s cabin is located next to the bridge, to ensure even more control and safety during night navigation and a faster response in the event of need. Like everything else, the wheelhouse has been personalised uniquely according to the Owner’s tastes and both the sofa and wheel have a sporty design.
Like the other Benetti Class Range vessels, Classic 121’ is fitted with innovative technology. The BEST platform - Benetti’s Exclusive Sea Technology - integrates all electronic equipment and on board systems (from enter tainment to automation and from communications to security) into the same user-friendly interface. The innovative, integrated helm station provides an interface with all navigation and communication instruments to ensure safe and reliable yacht operation. The dashboard has a modern, minimalist design, with three monitors, three touch panels and three mouse pads to manage and control the entire yacht using only a few advanced technology tools.
