The French shipbuilding company Jeanneau Yachts is holding a good position in the European yacht market. Constructed here are excellent sailing and motor powered yachts, racing ones as well as the cruising yachts. The range of production also includes various motor boats for fishing and leisure. Having experience of half a century, Jeanneau is rightly considered to be one of the leaders in the industry. The yachts by the company have won repeatedly international awards.
Jeanneau was founded in 1957. The yard's specialists were among those who for the first time in the world practice - since 1961- began to make hulls of fiberglass. The boats by Jeanneau from the very beginning were characteristic with excellent nautical qualities and safety, which gained them great populratity. Constantly perfecting the desing and implementing newest technologies into production, the company has been developing successfully and at the time being around 6000 yachts and motor boats are manufactured every year at 5 factories owned by the company. The Jeanneau's yards are placed in France and Poland with the general number of employees to be over two thousand. The company's international dealer's network counts more than 300 official representatives in over 50 countries. In 1995 Jeanneau came part of Beneteau-Group.
One of Jeanneau's yachts' features is impeccable quality. With hand assembling of hulls all wooden work is done under strict computerized control thanks to which the parts fit one another ideally. The wooden part of the boats doesn't grow dim and doesn't get damaged in the ultraviolet rays thanks to the use of a specially patented varnish.
