Floyd Miller founded Sunnfjord Boats in June of 1976. It has always been a family-owned company. Floyd's wife, Yvonne, daughter, Mia, and both sons. Todd and Eric, joined Floyd in the business. Mia worked part-time during college and Eric became a full-time fisherman.
Floyd passed away in August of 1998. His son Todd Miller, with over 20 years of experience, took over production and retrofits with the help of an experienced crew of craftsmen. Over the last 25 years, we at Sunnfjord have built 300 fiberglass vessels including fish boats, charter boats, custom workboats and custom yachts. Alaska has been our larges market, but we also have boats in Calfornia, Hawaii and Saipan.
Sunnfjord boats are recognized for their reliability, integrity and
sea-kindliness. Our customers have personally "tested" our Eddie Monk hulls in the Gulf of Alaska.
All of us at Sunnfjord go the extra mile to serve our customers with their special requirements, whether it be new construction, vessel extension, customization, or yearly maintenance.
